ECC approves Rs17bn for SAP, Rs3.2bn for flood hit farmers – Mettis Global Link

Oct 18, 2022 (MLN): The Financial Coordination Committee (ECC) of the Cupboard on Monday authorized additional money as a Specialized Supplementary Grant (TSG) amounting to Rs17 billion in FY23 below the Sustainable Improvement Plans Achievement Programme (SAP), to finance the city-rural infrastructure and social improvement schemes for locations deprived so far across the state.

In look at of the significant damages to the agriculture sector due to new rains and floods and to assistance flood-affected farmers in the region, the dwelling also authorised TSG of Rs3.2bn in favor of the Ministry of Countrywide Food stuff Security & Study (MNFS&R) and subsequent transfer to NDMA for procurement and distribution of wheat seed to flood affected districts.
